Angela Sterner
Class of 2002
So a funny thing... I'm sitting at my desk, doing homework with my window open and I started to hear a marching band in the distance. The brass line, the drumline... it made me think of when I used to march and I decided to check the website to see what's going on back home. My name is Angela Sterner... I graduated in 2002. I was in the colorguard, mostly, though I had a small part in an indoor drumline season and was drum major senior year. I just graduted this past May from Ursinus College and moved to Ardmore this summer while I go back to school for my Masters/Certification. I eventually want to be a high school science teacher, though I now have a background in Psychology and Anthropology. Hearing a band playing again really makes me miss my marching days. I've never been in better shape in my life! haha. I always think about it around this time of year, when the nights get cooler and I remember hauling butt down a blacktop field with the sounds of the band all around me.After I graduated, I taught at different schools in the area... AB Ryan, Perkiomen Valley, & Norristown... but now I'm just trying to focus on my education so I can get done and hopefully be involved in a program somewhere again. I'm going to try to come back for a show this year... perhaps Parade of Colors if I know other people will be around. I wish everyone there the best of luck this season, and to the alumni I marched with... I miss you!
Also, Dr. Fitzgerald, congratulations on your retirement, if you read this.
And to the kids... you have a very talented new director!
Congratulations, Mike. Best of luck!

Stacey Blitz (Zod)
Class of 2004
Hi there Bensalem,
I heard Dr. Fitzgerald was retiring and decided to
check out the web site again. I have so many great
memories of my time with the band. I had the
opportunity to complete 4 years of marching band and 1
year of indoor drumline. It was always hard work, but
the rewards were more than worth it.

I wish Dr. Fitzgerald happiness and relaxation in his
retirement.

I should also update my information. I am now at a
newer job and my husband and I bought a house in
Willow Grove a few months ago. No new photos, but feel
free to contact me at smzst6@yahoo.com

I also send best wishes to everyone who was in the
band with me from 1990-1994.
